The midterm elections are soon! While turning out our votes, many people asked us: why does COGS have to have this vote in the first place and why do we have to pay for it? In 2017, the Republican majority in the state legislature voted along party lines to change the Ch 20 laws that govern our union rights. COGS does not endorse candidates, however, we feel that it is important that our membership understands how we ended up here in the first place.
