General Membership Meetings (GMMs)
These happen once per month and all graduate student workers and allies–whether or not you are a dues-paying member–are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Committee Meetings
Join in the planning and completion of events for the union! Here is a brief description on which each one does:
Labor Solidarity – Creates connections between different labor groups in Iowa and the country
Organizing – Decides recruitment for more dues-paying members
Press & Publicity – Takes photos, writes press releases, and publishes COGnition
Political Action – Teams up with other organizations in Iowa City and fights for rights and laws that affect graduate student workers
