20th Anniversary Celebration and COGSapalooza

Dates: April 15th – April 16th, 2016
Locations: Rally to Fund Our Future on the Pentacrest. Panels will be held at the Iowa City Public Library, the Old Brick Building and other campus locations. Thursday – informal social, Friday night – cocktail reception at the Old Brick, Saturday – COGSapalooza at Gabe’s.

Description: COGS will be celebrating our 20 years of proud history guaranteeing the rights of graduate employees and collective action against the corporatization of higher education at The University of Iowa. Through panels, fellowship, and of course, COGSapalooza, we will look back at our shared history and discuss strategies as we move forward into a world of increasing job scarcity and fight against the neoliberal agenda.
